During the lectures of the course "Industrial Policy and International Competitiveness", the following distinguished speakers were invited by Angelos Tsakanikas, Associate Professor at the National Technical University of Athens:

During the lectures of the course "Entrepreneurship and Creation of new Entrepreneurial Ventures", at the invitation of Mr. Konstantinos Aravossis, Associate Professor at the National Technical University of Athens, and also  Secretary General at the Natural Environment and Water Sector, of the Ministry of Environment and Health, examples from different business sectors and activities were presented by the following entrepreneurs:

  Christos Nikoloudis, Founder & CEO at Mantis Business Innovation

• Entrepreneurship through the lens of a Greek multinational start-up
  Aimilios Chalamandaris, Founder and CEO at Innoetics TTS, Member of the Board at the National Council for Research and Innovation (NCRI)

• Entrepreneurship through the lens of a Greek multinational enterprise in the industrial sector
  Ioannis Paniaras, General Manager, Titan Cement Group, Chairman of the Board of Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) Council for Sustainable Development.

The graduation ceremony of two classes, namely 2015-17 and 2016-18, scheduled for April 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The total number of graduates is 73. 

The best performer of the 2015-17 class, Dimitrios Panagos, achieved the total grade of 9.04 (10=excellent).

The best performer of the 2016-18 class, Ilias Bitsanis, achieved the total grade of 9.40 (10=excellent). 

Financial awards were given to the best performers of each class with the sponsorship of Dr. Zoe Ventura Neokosmidi.  The awards were given to:

The New Year’s event, which takes place annually, was organized on Friday 21.2.2020 at FOUAR Restaurant & Bar in collaboration with the Athens MBA Alumni Association. Students, graduates, faculty members and administrative staff have been invited to share the Greek New Year’s Cake of the Athens MBA. 

Raffle tickets have been sponsored by the program.

The AthensMBA program includes an educational trip abroad. Postgraduate students have the opportunity to visit companies in the manufacturing and services sectors to successfully connect theory and practice. 

The educational trip in Barcelona (12-16 September 2019) included a visit in SEAT Car Industry.

Master Talks is a series of lectures organized by all the postgraduate programs of the Department of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

The primary goal of this action is to strengthen the connectivity between different disciplines, such as social sciences, humanities, natural, formal and applied sciences. Invited speakers include Historians, Politicians, Lawyers, Judges, Psychologists, Philosophers, Representatives of Religions, Artists and Writers.

The first lecture took place on Monday, May 20, 2019 on the topic: "Greece - Turkey. The necessity for economic cooperation to deal with geopolitical tensions".
