Academic Advisors

Pursuant to the decision of the 6th Meeting of the AUEB Council on January 12, 2023, the role of Academic Advisor has been established. The Advisor serves as the point of contact for students on matters related to their academic progress, their participation in the academic community, and their professional development, and has the following responsibilities:

  • Provides counseling and information regarding the Master’s Program curriculum, the courses offered, and their content and requirements.
  • Provides counseling and guidance on selecting a thesis topic.
  • Provides counseling and suggests solutions, where feasible, in cases of difficulties with learning and attending courses.
  • Encourages students to make use of the available facilities and services, such as the Laboratories and the Library.
  • Provides counseling and guidance regarding opportunities for internships and mobility through the Erasmus+ Program or other programs.
  • Advises and guides students on issues related to professional development after the completion of the Master’s Program.
  • Encourages students to participate in the academic community and the activities organized within the community (e.g., attending conferences and workshops, volunteering, etc.)
  • Provides support in cases where problems (e.g., personal, academic, learning difficulties) create obstacles and difficulties in students’ studies and performance, offering advice on how to address them and/or referring those concerned to other services (e.g., mental health services, doctor’s office).

By decision of the 2nd meeting of the Curriculum Committee Council on October 10, 2024, the Athens MBA has appointed the following Academic Advisors:
