As part of the educational activities of Athens MBA (AUEB-NTUA), an educational trip to Nafplio took place on March 1st and 2nd, 2026, connecting academic knowledge with business practices.
The trip began at the Mycenae Railway Station, where students participated in an ideas workshop for the revival of the railway in Peloponnese, with the contribution of FichtiArt and representatives of the Hellenic Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage (ELLET). The day concluded with a riddle game in the old town of Nafplio.
On the second day, the students visited the facilities of the Greek company ASPIS (Aspis SA Hellenic Juice Industry – taste of nature), which has an international focus and adheres to modern sustainable development practices.
The trip concluded with a visit to Skouras Estate (https://skouras.gr/), where students gained a direct view of modern business practices in the agri-food and winemaking sectors.
The field trip offered numerous benefits to the participants, as it gave them the opportunity to get a firsthand look at successful Greek companies and their business practices, while also helping to strengthen the relationships between students and faculty.
The students were accompanied by the Director of the Program Professor Helen Salavou and the Deputy Director Professor Konstantinos Kirytopoulos.
