Last week, at the facilities of the School of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, a joint class was successfully held between the postgraduate students of the Le Management Global des Risques program of Arts et Métiers - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (France) and the students of AthensMBA (NTUA - AUEB), as part of the Project Risk Management course taught by Professor Konstantinos Kirytopoulos. This international educational collaboration enhanced the students' experience, offering opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and best practices in the field of project risk management.

The event was further enriched by the presence and presentation by Mr. Stratos Vitsios, Director of Maintenance Planning at Aegean Airlines and a graduate of the Athens MBA program, who presented risk management approaches for large-scale projects at an award-winning airline. We extend our warmest thanks to him for his valuable contribution.

We would also like to express our thanks to Professors Marc Lassagne and Laurent Dehouck, as well as to Najat Loubiri from the French delegation, for their valuable contribution to the organization and implementation of this important educational initiative.

Athens MBA actively participated in the 20th Project Management Conference, a leading event in the field of Project Management, with this year's theme being "Agility in the Era of AI". The event took place from 3^rd-4^th April 2025 at the OTEAcademy Amphitheater. The conference was organized by BOUSSIAS Events, under the auspices of the PMI Greece Chapter.

More than 300 professionals from Greece and abroad participated in a program that included speeches, interactive sessions, and Masterclasses, with examples of applications and best practices for the latest trends in Project Management with the contribution of Artificial Intelligence.

Within the framework of the conference, the Deputy Director of Athens MBA, NTUA Professor Konstantinos Kirytopoulos, participated as an industry expert in the particularly interesting Discussion Panel titled: "Human vs. Machine: Who Leads When Agility Meets AI?", offering valuable insights and reflections on the future of agility and leadership in the world of Artificial Intelligence.

Athens MBA was also represented by members of its academic community, as Eleftheria Xagorari, member of the program's Administrative Staff, attended the conference, along with students and graduates of Athens MBA, strengthening the active presence and network of the program in the field of Project Management.

Within the context of the Inter-Institutional Inter-Departmental Postgraduate Program in Business Administration - "Athens MBA", a collaboration between the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), we are organizing an event titled "OPEN DAY - NETWORKING EVENT".

The event will take place on Friday, May 9^th, at 18:30, at the Athens University of Economics and Business, 2 Troias Street building.

During the event, there will be information about the Athens MBA program, a presentation of the second specialization in Project Management, as well as a reference to the program's goals and activities.

In addition, a discussion with Athens MBA alumni will take place, and elections will also be held for the new Board of Directors of the Athens MBA Alumni Association.

As part of the "Industrial Policy & International Competitiveness" course, taught by Professor Angelos Tsakanikas and Dr. Petros Dimas, we had the honor of hosting Mr. Antonis Avgeropoulos, CEO of Nespresso Hellas, of the Nestlé Group.

Mr. Avgeropoulos presented the topic "Nespresso: Innovation as a key pillar of a business model", with the Athens MBA students actively participating in a particularly interesting discussion. The topics covered a wide range of issues, from innovation strategy and industrial challenges to the impact of new international policy developments on the coffee value chain.

AthensMBA (AUEB – NTUA) supports BOUSSIAS Project Management Conference 2025, the leading conference in Project Management. The theme of this year will be "Agility in the Era of AI".

As part of the Production Management course at the Athens MBA Inter-Institutional Inter-Departmental Postgraduate Program, taught by Dr. S. Gayialis and Professor I. Tatsiopoulos, we had the pleasure of welcoming speakers from SAP Hellas and PLASTIKA KRITIS S.A. at the School of Mechanical Engineering of the NTUA.

During the lecture, we examined various approaches to production planning and control, focusing on how SAP solutions, based on Industry 4.0 technologies, support production processes and enhance digital transformation.

We warmly thank Mr. Manolis Kalikakis, Digital Transformation Senior Manager of "PLASTIKA KRITIS S.A.", Mr. Dimitris Tsoumpelis, SAP Solution Architect, and Ms. Rosela Tsela, CSR & University Alliances Country Lead of SAP Hellas, for their inspiring speeches and the interesting discussion.

The event was held at the invitation of instructor Dr. Sotirios Gayialis and was another important step in promoting continuous learning and the exchange of knowledge within the framework of Athens MBA.

As part of the Operations Management course at the AthensMBA Inter-Institutional Inter-Departmental Postgraduate Program, taught by Dr. S. Gayialis and Prof. I. Tatsiopoulos, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Eleni Papandreou, Director at PwC Greece Operations Consulting, as a guest speaker, at the School of Mechanical Engineering of the NTUA.

Ms. Papandreou shared valuable knowledge and practical applications of Lean Manufacturing, encouraging a constructive discussion with the students of the department.
